F O O L
F O O L was a three-day, collaborative art and sound experience at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design.
Directed by Professor Craig Dongoski and organized by Adam Sprague, this durational event brought together students and faculty to create a massive, spontaneous drawing inspired by the energy and symbolism of "The Fool" tarot card. The project explored themes of new beginnings, improvisation, and collective creativity.
- Director: Craig Dongoski
- Organizer: Adam Sprague
Participants worked with colored pens under constantly shifting colored lights. This environment was designed to affect color perception and mood, directly influencing the creative process and the final artwork. As the lights changed, the massive drawing itself appeared to transform, creating a dynamic visual experience.
